Sharing Inspiring Stories of Sustainability that Pays
In September 2025, PICS Fine Jewellery was invited to join the Sustainability Heroes Panel Series at Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong, one of the world’s largest and most influential jewellery trade shows. The panel, “Sustainability that Pays,” explored how meaningful impact and business growth can go hand in hand in today’s evolving jewellery industry.
Representing PICS, founder and designer Catherine Siu shared her story as an independent jewellery artist - one driven not only by craftsmanship and design, but by purpose. She spoke about how true success extends beyond business results to the positive impact we create for others. For Catherine, sustainability means more than ethical sourcing or production - it’s about nurturing a mindset of appreciation, inclusion, and giving back to the community through art.
The discussion brought together inspiring voices from across the industry who share the same belief: that profit is not the only measure of success. What begins as a desire to create meaning often becomes deeply rewarding, not only through business growth, but through the connections and positive changes it inspires in others.
