Jewellery Shows in Hong Kong 2026: Discover PICS at Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong

Hong Kong has long been one of the world’s leading jewellery hubs, and every September, the city becomes a meeting point for the global jewellery industry. From 16–20 September 2026, Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW) will return to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together jewellery designers, manufacturers, gemstone specialists, wholesalers, retailers, buyers and industry professionals from around the world.

This year, Pui In Catherine Siu, founder and designer of PICS Fine Jewellery, will present a selection of one-of-a-kind fine jewellery in Hall 1 · Designer Arena · Booth 1A229, centred around extraordinary natural gemstones, individualised design and handmade craftsmanship.

For us, however, taking part in a jewellery show has never simply been about putting jewellery on display. More importantly, it is about creating an opportunity to pause, look closely, ask questions and encounter something unexpected.

Presence Without Noise

A jewellery show is a place designed to attract attention. Brilliant lights, striking displays and tens of thousands of pieces all compete for a moment of attention. But at PICS, we have never wanted to be the loudest voice in the room.

Instead, we want to create a pause — a moment where craftsmanship, material and meaning can be quietly experienced rather than deliberately announced. In an exhibition environment filled with visual stimulation, we believe there is value in giving people a reason to slow down and look a little closer. This September, we invite you to experience fine jewellery at a different pace.

What to Discover at PICS

PICS Fine Jewellery has always been drawn to gemstones with a character of their own. Our work explores a variety of natural gemstones, including spinel, tourmaline, garnet, fire opal and many more, selected for their individual qualities and character.

Some gemstones reveal their beauty at first glance. Others become more intriguing when you take the time to understand them. That is part of what makes coloured gemstones so fascinating. Their beauty is not fixed; colour, light, movement and perspective can reveal qualities that may not be immediately apparent.

We bring this same curiosity into our jewellery designs. Many PICS creations are one-of-a-kind, allowing the character of each gemstone to become part of the design rather than fitting every stone into a predetermined form. As a result, some pieces do not reveal everything at first glance. They are worth looking at slowly.

Handmade Fine Jewellery, Seen Up Close

A photograph of jewellery can show its colour and form, but it cannot always communicate every decision behind a piece.

At an exhibition, you have the opportunity to observe these details for yourself — how a gemstone is framed and enhanced, how proportions work together, how the metal interacts with the stone, and how the overall piece changes when it moves or is worn.

For PICS, handmade craftsmanship is not simply one step in the making of a piece. It is part of the creative process. Each creation gradually takes shape through the relationship between natural material, design and the hands of its maker.

This is also why we value face-to-face encounters so much. A piece can feel completely different from how it appears on a screen when you pick it up, turn it towards the light and see how it sits on the body. Sometimes, it is the smallest details that make you stop.

One of the questions we are often asked is, “Why choose handmade?” 

Another might be, “Where do your design inspirations come from?”

And sometimes, a conversation begins with something much simpler:

“I've never seen a gemstone like this before.”

These are the conversations we enjoy most. Because fine jewellery is not simply about the finished object. It is also about the relationship between nature, maker and wearer.

The gemstone carries its own history and character. The maker interprets it through design and craftsmanship. And the wearer gives the finished piece another layer of meaning through personal experience and connection.

For us, jewellery becomes more interesting when there is space for that conversation to continue.
