At the third edition of As One; We Craft, held on 13 June 2026, people from diverse walks of life came together to reshape a single sheet of 18K yellow gold. Through their collective creativity, three unique pieces of jewellery were born. This bullet-shaped pendant is one of them — a symbol of power, determination, transformation, and the impact of creating together.
 
The pendant’s story began with a heart.
 
The first group of participants envisioned shaping the gold into a heart — a simple symbol of love, connection, and goodwill. But as the piece passed from one person to another, each new participant responded to what had already been created. The original form was gradually reshaped, altered, and transformed. No one could see exactly where the process would lead.
 
It was only towards the final stage that its distinctive silhouette emerged: unexpectedly, the heart had become a bullet.
 
Yet the heart had not disappeared. It had been transformed.
 
One side is illuminated by a vivid combination of gemstones — fiery red Burmese spinel, lively green tsavorite from Kenya, and brilliant round diamonds. On the reverse, organically engraved lines flow across the surface of the gold, preserving traces of its transformation and the many hands that shaped it. What appears as a finished piece is, in fact, a record of everything that came before.
 
Its bullet-like form carries a second meaning. A bullet has direction and force; it travels forward and reaches its destination. Here, however, what it carries is not destruction, but the intention of the original heart: love, kindness, and goodwill being propelled forward from one person towards another.
 
It is a reminder that love does not always remain in the form in which it begins. Sometimes, through the hands and perspectives of others, it is transformed into something stronger — something with the power to travel further and make a greater impact.
 
The pendant also embodies the quiet art of compromise and acceptance. The first participants began with an idea of their own, but those who came later were free to reinterpret and transform what had already been made. Rather than trying to preserve the original vision unchanged, each person accepted the work of those before them and added something of their own. In this way, every contribution became a continuation of the previous one.
 
The final form therefore belongs to no single person. The heart came from one group. The transformation came through many others. And the bullet-shaped silhouette emerged only because everyone allowed the piece to evolve.
 
More than a piece of jewellery, this pendant is a symbol of how love, when carried forward through collective effort, can become a force for change. What begins as one person's intention can be transformed by many hands and ultimately reach places none of us could have imagined.
